NewsSpring Brook's New Engine 3 ArrivesOn October 1, 2009, Spring Brook Fire District took possession of Engine #3, a 2009 Pierce Arrow pumper, straight from the manufacturer in Appleton, Missouri. #3 will replace Engine #1, a 1982 Pierce pumper, soon to be taken out of service. The new engine will undergo a few cosmetic updates in Churchville before going into service at Spring Brook later this month.

Spring Brook, East Seneca, Blossom, RMA & Mercy Flight Receive AwardAt Firemen's Day at the Erie County Fair this year, Spring Brook, along with neighboring companies East Seneca and Blossom, and Rural Metro Ambulance and Mercy Flight received the Excellence in Team Work Award for a call they responded to back on March 2, 2009. Matthew Faulkner, a 17-year-old high school senior was critically injured in a motor vehicle accident at Transit and New Bullis roads in the Town of Elma. Through the hard work of these five companies, Matthew's life was saved, and he was able to walk across the stage at his high school graduation this past June. He was also able to join the five companies and their representatives in accepting this award at the fair.
